This project was part of a semester long study in marketing. I researched the low and high ends of the men’s fragrance and body wash market, engaged in demographic breakdowns for age, gender, income, marital status, geographic segmentation, technology use, and sense of fashion. I came up with the marketing message, “Scent in Style.” I also came up with a promotional event where a shower bus would be parked at Tough Mudder Events, and I broke down the demographic information into three distinct personas, and two categories of consumer: The Fashion Savvy Fellow and The Signature Scent Guy.
The products were already on the market, so I did not design the packaging. I did, however, design all the promotional materials, including the way the product is laid out, the interior of the shower rooms, the wrap on the shower bus, and I placed all the ads in their virtual world.
