Slayer Kinetic Type

It’s very unlikely that you’re a fan of extremely heavy music, and I know that people aren’t supposed to put this kind of thing on their portfolio site but hear me out: This is still a visually stunning piece of After Effects work. It uses null objects, transparencies, adjustment layers, 3D rendering, lighting effects, and more.

Tommy Boy Kinetic Type

Using After Effects, I designed this kinetic type project around Tommy Boy’s encounter with the stone-faced waitress, Hellen. Words have different designs according to what they mean, backgrounds and fonts change depending on Farley’s emotional fervor, and I purposely finished the video the same way it began.
