Debuting on Saturday Night Live in 1990, Chris Farley quickly gained fame for his energetic and loud style of comedy. A truly outrageous character, Farley had been known to prank the offices of SNL. He and Adam Sandler would make prank phone calls using the SNL lines at Rockefeller Center, with Sandler speaking in an old woman's voice and Farley farting into the phone. In 1995, Farley costarred alongside his close friend David Spade in Tommy Boy.

Using After Effects, I designed this kinetic type project around Tommy Boy’s encounter with the stone-faced waitress, Hellen. Words have different designs according to what they mean, backgrounds and fonts change depending on Farley’s emotional fervor, and I purposely finished the video the same way it began. Enjoy!
